first, try not to damage the original waterproof layer

in the newly delivered buildings, the floors of toilets, bathrooms and kitchens have waterproof layers made in accordance with relevant specifications. Therefore, without damaging the original waterproof layer, leakage will not occur after occupancy. The common problem now is that some bathroom bathing facilities will be added in the decoration and a variety of water supply and drainage pipelines will be rearranged or moved, which has seriously damaged the original waterproof layer of the building. However, there is no repair or re waterproof construction, so that the problem is found after leakage. Experience: the waterproof layer is easy to be damaged when redecorating the ground. If it is not repaired in time, leakage will occur in the future, affecting the neighborhood. Therefore, after the water and electricity transformation, we need to do waterproof again

second, the re laying of floor tiles should be waterproof

Before waterproofing, the ground must be cleaned, and the indoor special waterproof paint must be repeatedly applied to 1.5mm. Experience: the joints between the wall and the ground and the ground joints of the pipes between the water supply and drainage are the places where problems are most likely to occur. We must urge the workers to deal with these edges and corners, and the waterproof coating must be applied in place. The decoration team is required to do a good job of cement mulch for the upper and lower pipes of the kitchen and bathroom, brush 10 to 20 cm of waterproof paint upward from the ground, and then re waterproof the ground, add the original waterproof layer to form a composite waterproof layer, so as to enhance the waterproof property

third, be sure to make the wall waterproof

Experience: the wall adjacent to the shower should also be 1.8m high. If a bathtub is used, the height of the waterproof coating on the wall adjacent to the bathtub should also be higher than the top edge of the bathtub. Experience: the floor of the kitchen and bathroom must be sloped towards the floor drain, and the slope should be increased appropriately. When decorating the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom, try to avoid changing the original drainage and sewage pipes and the location of the floor drain, and avoid leakage caused by re draining the pipes and chiseling the floor to damage the waterproof layer

If the acceptance is unqualified, the waterproof works must be redone as a whole and then re accepted. Experience: for the acceptance of waterproof construction of light-weight walls, water pouring test should be adopted, that is, use water pipes to spray water on the wall with waterproof coating from top to bottom for 3 minutes, and observe whether there will be seepage on the other side of the wall after 4 hours. If there is no seepage, it can be considered that the acceptance of waterproof construction of the wall is qualified
